About

Jacqueline Hettel is the Assistant Director of the Nexus Lab for Digital Humanities and Transdisciplinary Informatics at Arizona State University. She has been involved in Digital Humanities, and more specifically the development of technologies and professional development initiatives around sustainable, scholarly web application development for over five years--both during her time as a graduate student at the University of Georgia and as a Digital Humanities developer and Textual Research Librarian at Stanford University Libraries.

Contribution

Jacqueline's main efforts for this project have centered on the development and implementation of digital project best practices for access, discovery, and interactivity of the collection. Simultaneously, she has helped to extend resources and impact of this project by designing, coordinating, and leading the Developing Wassaja Workshop Series that brought together faculty, staff, and graduate students from across Arizona State University to generate an initial web application for this collection.
